Sony was looking for a solid, corporate feel—a practical meeting space where private meetings could be held and real work could be done. And it had to feel intimate within a large, empty corridor (not to mention contending with structural columns!). Lounge spaces helped bring it all to a human scale, and we used modular elements to help the meeting suite feel permanent and integral to the space. Note the faux marble and open dividers that played off elements of the client’s brand.
